Job Description
Montessori Trained Teacher - Full-Time South Bay Preschool Program We are seeking a caring and responsible Montessori Trained Teacher to join our early childhood team. Our program focuses on providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic growth. Position Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, organized classroom Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences Support early literacy and phonics development Follow curriculum plans and daily schedules Guide children using positive behavior strategies Supervise indoor and outdoor activities Maintain open communication with families and staff Follow California Community Care Licensing requirements Minimum Qualifications Minimum 12 ECE units Montessori experience and/or training Strong written and verbal English skills Reliable attendance and transportation Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Preferred Qualifications 2+ years preschool teaching experience Experience teaching early literacy or phonics Schedule & Compensation Full-time, Monday-Friday $28-$32/hour , based on qualifications Application Requirements Resume Unofficial ECE transcripts Availability schedule
