Preschool Mandarin Teacher

CREC Montessori Preschool - Preschool Mandarin Teacher Position CREC Montessori Preschool is a growing child development center in Campbell. Position Responsibilities Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment Set clear expectations and guide children in positive behavior Provide developmentally appropriate materials and learning experiences during work and play time Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet children's individual interests and learning styles Follow and implement the school's curriculum and daily schedule Teach early Mandarin literacy skills, including Mandarin phonics and foundational language development Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members Supervise classroom activities including lessons, outdoor play, meals, and transitions Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations Minimum Qualifications Minimum 12 ECE units required (in Child Development or Early Childhood Education) Strong Mandarin communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to teach Mandarin phonics and support early reading readiness Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with children, families, and staff Consistent attendance and reliability Ability to follow state and school guidelines Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Flexible and willing to support classroom and school needs as they arise Preferred Qualifications Montessori certification, or currently enrolled in a Montessori training program 2+ years experience in a Montessori or early childhood classroom Experience working with preschool-aged children Experience teaching early Mandarin literacy or phonics-based programs Schedule & Compensation Full-time position: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Hourly rate: $26-$32/hour , based on experience and qualifications If you are someone who enjoys working with young children, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a supportive and purpose-driven school community, we would love to hear from you.
