Ideally, teachers would have a minimum of 12 ECE units, classroom or group care experience, and a teamwork approach. Our long established developmental program serves children ages 2-5. Applicants must be nurturing, energetic, willing to work with any age group, and be available to work 9:00- 5:30 pm. We offer low teacher to child ratios and teachers work in pairs. This allows for flexibility both personally and professionally. Benefits include paid medical premiums, seven days of paid personal time, vacation time, and 12+ paid holidays.

To be of good character and judgement as well as equipped by education and experience to perform the job required To be respectful, patient, sensitive to the needs of the children, parents, and other staff members To be physically capable of lifting children, standing, and bending To work cooperatively with each staff member and foster team work To be supportive of Christ Presbyterian Preschool's philosophy and administrative policies in a Christian preschool setting Responsibilities to
Children:
To meet the varying needs of the child To meet physical needs of the children using universal health precautions To supervise children at all times regardless of assigned class To plan a variety of age appropriate activities that take into account the multicultural and developmentally appropriate makeup of the class To develop both inside and outside curriculum that promotes positive social, emotional, creative, physical, and cognitive growth To interact and respect children as individuals using positive reinforcement To address unsafe or inappropriate behavior using redirection, discussion of the rules to further understanding, communicating the expectation moving forward, then praising the appropriate behavior To provide opportunities for children to experience success To maintain confidentiality at all times To document injuries or behaviors as needed To maintain a clean and orderly classroom and playground To complete any task within our scope as needed Communication with
