River Roots Preschool is a nurturing home-based preschool that focuses on social-emotional growth and nature. We are a play-based program and integrate teaching philosophies from Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia. Our program honors the natural rhythms of childhood and centers on cultivating imagination, creativity, and emotional growth, while fostering a sense of community and connection to the natural world. Criminal Record Clearance Health Screening & TB Test :
Must provide documentation of a current health screening and tuberculosis clearance.
Immunization Records :
Proof of immunization against MMR, Tdap, and flu required.
Physical Capabilities :
Must have adequate hearing and vision to monitor the environment and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for the majority of the day. Ability to assume low-level positions to maintain physical and visual contact with children, such as kneeling or sitting on the floor. Must be able to quickly transition from a seated to standing position in response to emergencies. Ability to engage in physical activities with children both indoors and outdoors.
Adaptability :
Must excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment where flexibility is key to meeting the needs of children.
Outdoor Activities :
Depending on the activities and seasons, must be prepared for regular and prolonged outdoor time with the children, including play and learning in various weather conditions.

Observe and document each child's developmental progress and provide appropriate support and guidance. Collaborate with
