Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate Mandarin language curricula tailored for early childhood learners. Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate storytelling, songs, games, and cultural activities to enhance language acquisition. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respect among young children. Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing space conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Incorporate best practices in literacy education and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards while maintaining high standards of safety and care. Requirements Previous experience teaching Chinese /Mandarin is required. Proven experience teaching young children in preschool or daycare settings with a focus on language acquisition. Strong knowledge of early childhood development, behavior management, classroom management, and child welfare practices. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, and assessment tools related to early childhood education. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports physical education, literacy, math skills, and overall childhood development. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for toddlers and preschool-aged children while maintaining high energy levels and enthusiasm.
