Your Role As an Early Childhood Educator at Bay Sky Preschool, you will help create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn. Our teachers carefully observe children's interests, document their learning journeys, and design experiences that support each child's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. Working within a child-centered and inquiry-based approach, you will encourage children to ask questions, express ideas, solve problems, and build meaningful relationships with their peers and teachers. We believe that learning happens through exploration, collaboration, creativity, and play. Through thoughtful interactions and intentional teaching practices, you will help children develop confidence, independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Qualifications Speak Mandarin (说普通话) Completion of at least 12 ECE units (or currently enrolled in an accredited Early Childhood Education program and actively working toward completion) Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed early childhood setting Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Mandarin A collaborative mindset, professional demeanor, and genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and learning Experience with Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or inquiry-based learning approaches is highly desirable To be considered for an interview, please submit both your resume and cover letter for our review.
