Job Description
KinderCare in Fairfield is seeking passionate Teachers to join our early childhood education team. In this on-site role, you will design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, and academic growth. You will maintain a safe, nurturing classroom, observe and document progress, and build strong partnerships with families. Collaborating with colleagues, you will help create an inclusive, play-based learning environment while participating in ongoing training and professional development to grow your career. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and document children's progress and communicate with families regularly. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Collaborate with teaching staff and center leadership on curriculum and classroom management. Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with state licensing requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Manage daily routines, including meals, rest time, and transitions.
