This position focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children ages 18-24 months while supporting their early learning and developmental milestones. The ideal candidate is warm, patient, energetic, and enjoys building meaningful connections with young children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for toddlers in a safe and attentive manner Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play Support children's social, emotional, and language development Assist with daily care routines including meals, diapering, rest time, and transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting Knowledge of toddler developmental stages and classroom safety practices Caring, reliable, and team-oriented personality Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, positive environment
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education (ECE) 12 units required Infant/Toddler units preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
