We are Licensed Child Care Center in Fremont (Warm Springs area) and we have Preschool program (2 to 5 years old) and Afterschool program (T/Kindergarten to 7th grade). In this role, you will inspire young children through engaging lessons, support their developmental milestones, and create a positive classroom atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape the early educational experiences of our students, setting them on a path to success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, developmental milestones, and classroom events. Support children's physical health by applying first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues on early intervention strategies and special education accommodations to meet diverse student needs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor child development progress. Requirements Must have a minimum of 12 ECE units. Must pass fingerprint clearance (with CA ID, DL or PP), Physical and TB test. Must be open-minded and flexible. Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies. Familiarity with special education requirements, behavior management, and mandated reporting laws. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Ability to work with young children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment.
