Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration Manage daily classroom activities, including behavior management and classroom organization to ensure smooth operations Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor child development and tailor instruction accordingly Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare standards are upheld at all times Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Mandated Reporter Training for Childcare Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork Ability to work with diverse student populations including toddlers and children with special needs Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to young children is highly desirable Join us in shaping bright futures!
