Job Summary:
- Sparkle Montessori is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our Montessori-based learning environment. The Preschool Teacher will guide children ages 2.5
- 3.5Y through hands-on, self-directed learning, fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate will embrace the Montessori philosophy, support children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth, and create a nurturing classroom community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Montessori-aligned lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Facilitate an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment using Montessori materials and methods.
- Encourage self-directed learning, promoting independence, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Support children's social and emotional development, fostering a peaceful and collaborative classroom atmosphere.
- Regularly observe and assess each child's progress and prepare detailed progress reports for parents.
- Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child's development and classroom experiences.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe classroom that reflects the Montessori principles.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with Montessori practices and early childhood education trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Certification, or related field (required).
- ECE Units are required
- Experience in a Montessori or early childhood classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for nurturing young learners' natural curiosity and independence.
- Clearance of TB and Live scan fingerprints
