Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive learning experience for young children.
M-F 8-12 M-F 12-4
Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental needs Supervise and interact with children during play, learning activities, and mealtime Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines in accordance with health and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities Collaborate with colleagues to support classroom management and curriculum planning Follow all licensing regulations and center policies related to childcare and early childhood education Qualifications Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with children, parents, and team members Prior experience in childcare/preschool Passion for early childhood education, caregiving, and fostering a positive learning environment 15 ECE units (3 in Infant/Toddler units)
