Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play-based activities. Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, nap time supervision, and health monitoring. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages socialization, emotional security, and positive behavior management. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, daily activities, and any incidents or health concerns. Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on each child's development and address individual needs or special accommodations. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper classroom management and emergency procedures such as first aid when necessary. Support classroom organization by maintaining cleanliness, sanitization standards, and age-specific learning materials. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while providing individualized attention to children. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies. Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities or special needs. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Demonstrated patience, nurturing qualities, and a proactive approach to caregiving and behavior management.
