Overview We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Preschool Teacher to join a home-based educational setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing established Montessori curriculum for young children in a nurturing and engaging environment. This role requires someone with prior experience assisting in Montessori classrooms or holding a certification as a lead teacher. The position offers an opportunity to foster early childhood development through hands-on learning and personalized attention, all within an in-home setting. Responsibilities Implement the provided Montessori curriculum during morning sessions, ensuring that children engage with age-appropriate activities designed to promote independence, concentration, and cognitive development. Follow the structured enrichment curriculum for afternoon activities to enhance learning experiences and support varied developmental needs. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment conducive to young children's growth and exploration. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and adjusting activities as needed to support individual learning styles. Maintain a clean and organized classroom setup aligned with Montessori principles. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices for early childhood education within an in-home setting. Assist in maintaining educational materials and ensuring they are well-organized and accessible for children. Skills Prior experience assisting in a Montessori classroom for at least two years or certification as a lead Montessori teacher. Strong understanding of Montessori educational philosophy and methods. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and guardians effectively. Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster independence and curiosity. Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing demeanor suitable for working with young children. Organizational skills to manage classroom materials and maintain a structured learning environment. Ability to follow established curriculum accurately while providing personalized support where needed.
