Job Description

We are currently seeking Infant (Full-Time) Teacher that is experienced, warm, nurturing, mature and creative, to join our Building Kidz Family. Responsibilities for an
Infant Teacher:
Teacher 12 - 24 units of child development including core ECE classes •Infant Teachers must have 3 units in ECE Infant/Toddler Development Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in their care Give bottles to infants as provided by parents Feed infants solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents Change diapers as needed Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys Put infants in cribs for nap time Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean Reading books, teaching the curriculum provided by the school according to school needs. Maintaining the assessment records of the children in the class. Able to lift to 30-40 pounds Extended periods sitting on the floor Must have reliable transportation to the Child Care center Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents Qualifications for Infant Teacher Strong commitment to education Solid interpersonal skills working in a team environment A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred) CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children Ability to speak, read, and write English Planning age appropriate curriculum If you are passionate about the education of young children and interested in a great opportunity with a great company, please reply to this post to learn more about the opportunity to join our team.

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
