Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Duties Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all students. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress. Engage in daily caregiving tasks including infant care, toddler care, and general childcare responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and play areas. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in teaching. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong individual initiative. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. This position requires 12 ECE units: Please see below. 1. Child, Growth, and Development 2. Child, Family, and Community 3. Infant and Toddler 4. Curriculum The candidate must be patient, loving, caring, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. We provide teachers with the Montessori Curriculum that must be implemented every day. Please do not apply if you do not have the required qualifications! No exceptions!
