Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young children. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, effective classroom management, and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior and support their social-emotional development. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for students. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space conducive to learning. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Prior experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies. Familiarity with lesson planning, math concepts for young learners, and tutoring techniques is beneficial.
