Brookside Academy Preschool is looking for a dedicated Closing/Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual who loves working with young children and can step in as needed to support our staff and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children in a safe, structured, and positive environment Follow classroom schedules and assist in implementing lesson plans Maintain a clean and organized classroom Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration Assist with closing duties, including sanitizing and securing the facility

Requirements:

Education:

Minimum 12 core units in

Child Development Experience:

At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed preschool facility

Certifications:

Current CPR & First Aid Certification Training:

Completed Mandated Reporter Training Background Check:

Must pass fingerprint clearance & background check

Immunizations:

Proof of MMR and Pertussis vaccinations

Schedule & Availability:

Flexible schedule with availability for afternoon/evening shifts On-call for substitute teaching as needed Why Join Us?
