Job Description
North Bay Children's Center is seeking a Two's Preschool Teacher to join our mission-driven team in Santa Rosa, CA. In this on-site role, you will provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for two-year-olds in a safe, inclusive classroom. You will design engaging activities that promote school readiness, healthy habits, and social-emotional growth while building strong partnerships with families. Collaborating with a supportive, child-centered team, you'll receive professional development and the opportunity to positively impact children and families across the North Bay community every day. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for two-year-olds Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Observe, document, and assess children's growth and development Communicate regularly with families and support family partnerships Collaborate with teaching team and site leadership on classroom practices Incorporate health, nutrition, and social-emotional learning into daily routines Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards Participate in professional development and continuous learning Support organization's mission and community-focused initiatives Required Skills Curriculum planning for toddlers Classroom management Child observation and assessment Parent and family communication Knowledge of child development Health and safety practices in child care Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Collaboration and teamwork Recordkeeping and documentation Basic computer literacy for documentation and training
