Duties Design and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills development Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and curiosity among preschool-aged children Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports the welfare of all children, adhering to child welfare and mandated reporting laws Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through conferences and written updates Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction and special education needs Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental progress using standardized testing tools when appropriate Support children with toddler care needs and assist in implementing early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support Ensure classroom safety by maintaining cleanliness, organizing materials effectively, and practicing first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is essential Strong knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education methodologies, and curriculum development techniques Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment Passion for early childhood education combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners

Pay:
