Must have 12 ECE units to apply . If you have a teaching permit, even better! In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning for children in preschool age. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts constructively. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education practices to support children with diverse learning needs. Conduct assessments of child development using standardized testing methods and document progress accurately. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers or young learners. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and curriculum development. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Experience working with special education needs or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management strategies, classroom management techniques, and the use of educational technology tools.
