View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Resume 3 Letters of Recommendation Completion of 6 (six) postsecondary semester or equivalent semester units in early childhood education or child development, OR Completion of at least two postsecondary semester units or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development. An A.A. Degree in early childhood education preferred. Must meet academic requirement by any of the following:
- Pass a District administered proficiency test in Reading, Writing and mathematics; OR
- Completion of at least two years (four (4) semesters of 12 units or more) of study at a college or university; OR
- Earn an Associate's degree; OR
- Complete 48 semester hours of college level coursework with a "C" grade or higher All selected applicants are required to complete safety training before substituting for the district.
- Pass a District administered proficiency test in Reading, Writing and mathematics; OR
- Completion of at least two years (four (4) semesters of 12 units or more) of study at a college or university; OR
- Earn an Associate's degree; OR
