Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting positive behaviors, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in a private school setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration. Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Engage in daily activities that promote childhood development through play, art, music, and movement. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or varying learning abilities. Minimum of 12 ECE/CDE units, along with valid CTC Teacher permit. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children. Familiarity with educational philosophies is a plus. Ability to provide assistance to children with patience and compassion. Experience in special education or tutoring is beneficial. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that meets diverse learning needs. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
