We are looking for a caring, nurturing, dependable, and fully qualified Infant Teacher and Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and a strong understanding of infant development, responsive caregiving, and age-appropriate practices. We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, loving, calm, and nurturing environment where infants feel secure, supported, and cared for throughout the day. Required Qualifications Minimum of 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units Must have completed Infant/Toddler coursework Live Scan fingerprint clearance required Previous experience working with infants Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate practices Knowledge of infant health, safety, feeding, diapering, and sanitation procedures Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred Skills We Are Looking For Patient, nurturing, gentle, attentive, and dependable Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to each infant's individual needs and cues Ability to maintain consistent feeding, diapering, sleeping, and daily care routines Ability to plan and provide developmentally appropriate sensory, language, motor, and early learning experiences Strong supervision skills and commitment to infant safety Excellent communication and organizational skills Dependable, responsible, punctual, and professional Ability to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, organized, and welcoming infant classroom Ability to accurately document feedings, diaper changes, naps, activities, and other important daily information Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with co-teachers and other staff members Ability to communicate professionally with families and build positive, trusting relationships A genuine passion for caring for infants and supporting their growth and development Responsibilities The Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, loving, nurturing, positive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for infants. Responsibilities include providing attentive and responsive care, supervising infants at all times, preparing and assisting with feedings, changing diapers, supporting safe sleep routines, maintaining proper sanitation, and following each child's individual daily schedule and care needs. The Infant Teacher will plan and provide age-appropriate experiences that encourage social-emotional, cognitive, language, sensory, and physical development. This may include tummy time, music and movement, reading, sensory exploration, floor play, and other activities appropriate for each infant's developmental stage. The teacher will carefully observe infants' individual cues and needs and provide warm, responsive interactions that help children develop a strong sense of security, trust, and attachment. The Infant Teacher will also maintain accurate daily records and communicate regularly with families regarding their child's feedings, naps, diaper changes, activities, development, and overall day. The teacher will work closely with co-teachers and other staff members to maintain consistency within the classroom and provide the highest quality of care and early learning experiences for every child. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with infants and understands the patience, attentiveness, consistency, gentleness, and compassion required to care for babies during this important stage of development.
