Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will inspire young learners through engaging lessons, create a safe and stimulating classroom environment, and support each child's developmental journey. We are looking for someone that can work afternoon to evening hours. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management strategies. Support children's development by applying child development instruction techniques tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain safety standards by adhering to mandated reporting laws, first aid, CPR protocols, and child welfare guidelines. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that enhance early childhood education and support special education or early intervention needs. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with young learners. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development stages, and early intervention strategies. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for early learners. Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, first aid, CPR certification, and child welfare practices. Experience teaching physical education, math, or tutoring young children is highly desirable. Competence in classroom management techniques that promote safety, engagement, and learning success.
