In this role, you will assist lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your positive energy and compassionate approach will contribute to the development of essential skills, socialization, and early learning experiences that set the foundation for lifelong success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable classroom experience in a dynamic daycare setting. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on childhood development and early education principles Assist with supervising children during activities, playtime, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Help create a welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and social interaction Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs in accordance with best practices Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development milestones and early childhood education techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children in a safe and nurturing manner Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for young children Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to fostering joyful learning experiences!
