TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be:Desired Experience:
Experience working with multi-age groups of children. Experience in working with diverse populations, which may include students with special needs and their families.Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, and one of the following: 1) completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units); or 2) obtained an associate degree (or higher); or 3) take the Etiwanda School District Paraprofessional Exam, a rigorous local academic assessment test. (This would be offered to all qualified candidates in lieu of 1, 2 and 4). 4) Chaffey Adult School Paraprofessional certificate accepted.- All sections of the application must be FULLY completed even if a resume is submitted. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of the completed application.

- Three (3) references must be listed on the completed application.

This no cost care is available during the employee's work hours. Bonus may be available to eligible employees. Job posting is subject to close at the District's discretion. A complete application will go through the screening process and an incomplete application will not. Applications will be screened and only the best qualified candidates will be invited for interviews, as determined by the school district. Upon offer of employment, individuals will need to complete an application for a criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice.
