Providence Education is an after-school tutoring and enrichment center serving students K-12 throughout the Rancho Cucamonga area. Our comprehensive programs are designed to support students at every stage of their educational journey. We offer after-school academic tutoring, individualized one-on-one instruction, standardized test preparation, private school and college admissions consulting, leadership development programs, seasonal summer and winter enrichment camps, fine arts foundation and portfolio preparation courses, and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for both children and adults. Our mission is to cultivate confident, capable, and compassionate learners by providing personalized instruction, meaningful mentorship, and opportunities for students to develop the skills and character needed to thrive in school, their communities, and beyond. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging Pre-K/Kinder and First Grade Teacher to provide early development support while ensuring a safe, positive, and structured environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities that promote early learning Support early literacy, basic math, and foundational learning Help children develop communication, problem-solving, and social skills through interactive learning Assist with daily routines, including snack time, restroom breaks, handwashing, and transitions between activities.
Requirements:
Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) in an early childhood education, preschool, daycare, tutoring, or childcare setting. Understanding of early childhood development and learning practices Strong classroom management skills using positive guidance and behavior management techniques. Ability to engage students through play-based instruction, hands-on activities, songs, storytelling, arts and crafts, and interactive learning experiences. Ability to adapt lessons to meet the individual developmental and learning needs of each child.
Job Type :
Part time (with opportunity to become full time); Flexible work schedule with 1-on-1 tutoring;
Pay :
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience and subject)
