Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood development, including literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence among toddlers. Manage daily classroom routines, including circle time, play-based learning activities, nap schedules, and meal times. Engage in ongoing child development instruction to tailor activities that meet individual needs and promote growth across all developmental domains. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and milestones through meetings and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child observations and assessments. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when supporting children with additional needs or developmental delays. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to ages 2 to 3 years old. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
