Position Summary We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Preschool Teacher who embraces the Reggio Emilia philosophy and believes children are capable, competent, and active participants in their own learning. The ideal candidate will create meaningful learning experiences based on children's interests, support social-emotional development, and foster a collaborative classroom community. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum. Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development. Create engaging classroom environments that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving. Foster positive relationships with children and families. Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment. Support children's social-emotional growth through positive reinforcement. Ensure compliance with all California Community Care Licensing regulations and school policies. Qualifications Must meet California licensing requirements for a Preschool Teacher. Minimum of 12 ECE units. Minimum 2 years of previous preschool teaching experience. Knowledge of Reggio Emilia, emergent curriculum, or inquiry-based learning preferred. Bilingual Spanish Preferred. Requirements Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification. Current Mandated Reporter Training Certification. Live Scan and background clearance. Proof of immunizations as required by California regulations.
