Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant / Toddler Teacher to join our Montessori school. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that fosters the developmental growth of young children. As part of our team, you will implement Montessori principles to encourage independence, curiosity, and social-emotional development in infants and toddlers. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while working in a collaborative and respectful setting. Responsibilities Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Implement Montessori-based activities and lessons tailored to the developmental needs of young children. Create a nurturing environment that promotes independence, exploration, and social skills. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with Montessori standards. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities that support individual learning goals. Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment for children. Support children's emotional regulation by modeling positive interactions and providing comfort as needed. Requirements Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in an educational or caregiving setting preferred. Knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and philosophy is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles for early childhood ages. Excellent communication skills with both children and adults. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages curiosity and independence. Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Must meet all licensing requirements for early childhood education professionals in your region. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
