Our newly opened infant and toddler program serves children 6 weeks of age•2 years old. The preschool programs at Learning to Learn serve children 2 years old through 5 years old and are designed to support the development of the whole child. The school-wide curriculum focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical skills of our students. Learning to Learn is a fun and lively environment to work in. The school actively engages in the surrounding community and promotes building partnerships with current and past families. Requirements Previous experience working with children ages 0-2 years old. 12 units of Early Childhood Education (including at least 3 Infant/Toddler units). Health screening clearance and DOJ fingerprint clearance are required. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Job duties will include, but may not be limited to, the following… Planning, preparing, and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Supervising the safety of students in the classrooms as well as on outdoor playgrounds. Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Fostering social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities. Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment. Interacting with children, families, staff, and visitors in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner. Respecting the privacy of confidential and personal information regarding the children, families, and other staff members. Sharing the responsibility of school facilities, classroom equipment, and sanitation procedures. Ability to follow licensing regulations and safety procedures. Having high energy, a positive attitude, and being flexible. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available Hours of operation are 7:30am•5:30pm $20•$23 per hour depending on experience and ECE units
