Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, learning, and social interaction among children. Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, physical education, and overall development tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques. Conduct assessments of individual progress through observations and standardized testing to inform lesson planning and support early intervention when needed. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with childcare standards and private school requirements. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management and lesson planning expertise. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education needs. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and sensory play. Excellent communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom experience in private schools or daycare environments is preferred. Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is highly desirable. Ability to manage classroom behavior constructively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
