This position combines dog daycare supervision, front desk reception, and occasional grooming support. Grooming experience is a plus , particularly bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trims, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong dog-handling experience. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with both dogs and pet parents while contributing to a positive team environment. Responsibilities Daycare Duties Supervise group play and ensure safe interactions between dogs Monitor dog behavior and intervene appropriately when needed Rotate dogs between playgroups and play areas Take dogs out for potty breaks Feed meals, medication, and follow special care instructions Maintain a structured routine and follow all safety protocols Clean kennels, play areas, yards, and equipment throughout the day Front Desk & Reception Greet clients professionally at check-in and pick-up Answer phone calls and assist with basic client inquiries Check dogs in and out using facility software Confirm appointments and process payments Maintain a clean, organized reception area Communicate clearly with team members regarding dog notes, medications, feeding instructions, and special requests Grooming Support (Preferred) Bathe dogs safely and thoroughly Blow dry and brush coats Trim or grind nails Clean ears Assist with basic grooming preparation and finishing work Support groomers/bathers as needed Requirements Experience working in a dog daycare, kennel, boarding facility, veterinary clinic, grooming salon, or similar animal-care environment Comfortable handling both large and small dogs Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask between dog care and front desk responsibilities Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to lift 20+ pounds and be on your feet for long periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Weekend availability is a must; open availability (opening and closing a must)
Pay:
