401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Training & development Job Overview Joyful Learning Educational Development Center is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Education Teacher to provide high-quality care and instruction in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will support children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions. Responsibilities Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities and lessons Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Use positive behavior guidance and active supervision Complete lesson plans, observations, and required documentation Communicate professionally with families and staff Follow Title 22, Title 5, health, and safety regulations Participate in trainings, meetings, and safety drills Qualifications Minimum 12 ECE units required or a valid permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Experience in preschool or childcare settings preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Must pass Live Scan, TB test, Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Skills & Benefits Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, nurturing, and professional attitude
