RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Responsible for the overall center operations to ensure quality, safety and subsidy compliant childcare services. Hire and supervise center staff and ensure appropriate lesson plans and child-teacher interactions. Maintains proper teacher-to-child ratios in accordance with licensing requirements. Maintain enrollment in collaboration with Enrollment Specialists to ensure operating costs stay within budget. Manage daily food program, including reporting requirements, ordering food supplies, supervising meal preparation staff, and complying with child nutritional needs. Participating in classrooms as needed to substitute, provide breaks or ratio coverage needs. Oversee and/or conduct parent/teacher conferences and provide information to parents concerning their child's development, abilities, and areas of concern. Perform outreach activities to support center enrollment. May provide support and work in collaboration with other Center Directors and teaching staff. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Site Supervisor or Master Teacher permit Related experience, supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication and people skills to interact with diverse needs of staff, children and families Dependable and good time management skills Proficient Computer skills using Microsoft office and Specialized Child Care Software applications. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift children or heavy items up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
