KinderCare is seeking Teachers for the Center for Children and Families at CSUSM, supporting early learners in a high-quality educational environment. In this on-site role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that nurtures each child's curiosity, social-emotional skills, and school readiness. You will partner closely with families, collaborate with KinderCare and CSUSM staff, and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom that reflects our commitment to diversity, respect, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and document children's development and learning progress. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences. Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues and CSUSM partners on educational initiatives. Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior. Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning centers. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Assist with center events, family engagement activities, and program improvement efforts.
