Overview Ours is a warm, engaging, home based childcare program in Santa Clara. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for little kids aged 0-4 years to grow and thrive. We are currently seeking a reliable and loving Childcare Assistant to join us and help manage our daily operations Responsibilities Supervise & engage children during indoor & outdoor play, arts & crafts, & meal times. Assist in executing age-appropriate preschool learning activities. Manage all aspects of children's personal hygiene, including frequent diaper changes, assisting with toilet training, and cleaning up bathroom accidents. Maintain a strict level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the daycare, including sanitizing toys, wiping down eating areas, and safely disposing of soiled diapers. Assist with preparing and serving snacks and meals. Help maintain a calm, structured environment during nap times. Communicate warmly and professionally with parents at drop-off and pick-up

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a licensed daycare, preschool helpful but not mandatory Comfortable and experienced with all aspects of infant and toddler care (including feeding, soothing, and heavy diaper-changing duties). Valid CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting. Early Childhood Education (ECE) units are a strong plus, but not strictly required. Reliable, punctual, and physically able to keep up with active young children (lifting up to 40 lbs, sitting on the floor, bending, etc.).
