Your day-to-day work will include:
Providing responsive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care Creating a safe environment where infants feel secure, loved, and encouraged to explore Supporting children's social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development Using intentional play, conversation, music, movement, and caregiving routines to support learning Building trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Communicating openly with families about daily routines, milestones, development, and accomplishments Observing and documenting children's growth and development Individualizing care and learning experiences based on each child's unique needs and interests Working collaboratively with a team that shares a commitment to high-quality early childhood education Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has a genuine love for infants and toddlers Is warm, patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate Understands the importance of responsive caregiving and early childhood development Enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team Brings creativity, energy, and a playful spirit to the classroom Has experience working in a licensed child care or early childhood setting Two years of experience providing instruction to children in an early childhood setting is preferred. Education & Experience Requirements Applicants must meet the following requirements: Minimum of 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development , including at least 3 units focused on infant/toddler development At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program California Child Development Teacher Permit or higher-level permit A CDA, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or relevant coursework is welcomed, along with a commitment to continued professional growth.
