Job Description
Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant, Toddler and preschool and School Age Teachers to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidates will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As an early childhood education teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the foundational experiences of children 2 to 6 years, ensuring they are prepared for future educational endeavors primary and secondary education. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing appropriate behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to first aid protocols and maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all students, including those with special education requirements. Engage with parents through regular communication about their child's development and classroom activities. Experience Previous experience in childcare, Infant, Toddler and preschool settings is preferred, showcasing familiarity with childhood development principles. Skills in babysitting or infant care are advantageous for understanding the needs of younger children. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain order and facilitate effective learning experiences. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support children's emotional regulation and social skills development. Experience working with children with special needs is a plus, demonstrating an ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
