Little Sky Family Daycare is Hiring! We are looking for a dependable, caring, patient, and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our team! We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is willing to learn and grow in a family childcare environment. Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and supervision of children Actively engage with children through play, reading, singing, learning activities, and outdoor play Help maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment Assist with diaper changes, toileting, handwashing, and other hygiene routines Help serve and supervise meals and snacks Assist with nap and rest-time routines Help with classroom and daycare cleaning, sanitizing, and organization Follow the daycare's daily schedule, routines, rules, and safety procedures Take photos and document children's activities as requested Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, and other staff Be attentive to children's individual needs and behaviors Be dependable and arrive to scheduled shifts on time Complete additional childcare-related duties as needed RequirementsApplicants must have or be willing to obtain upon hire: CPR & First Aid Certification Mandated Reporter Training TB Test/Clearance Criminal Background Check/Fingerprint Clearance All required vaccinations/immunizations up to date Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is responsible, patient, motivated, and comfortable working hands-on with children. 90-Day Trial Period & Reimbursement The position will begin with a 90-day trial period to make sure it is a good fit for both the employee and Little Sky Family Daycare. After successfully completing the 90-day trial period, the employee will be reimbursed for the approved costs of obtaining the required CPR/First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter Training, TB test, background check/fingerprinting, and required vaccinations, as applicable. Receipts or proof of payment may be required for reimbursement. We are looking for someone who can become a reliable part of our daycare team and help provide our children with a safe, loving, structured, and fun environment.

Pay:

$16.50 - $17.00 per hour
