Job Description
The Senior Youth Partnership / PM Club is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, educational, and engaging environment for children during out-of-school hours. As part of our mission to provide high-quality care and enrichment, we are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to serve as part - time child care center teachers at various PM Club locations in Tuolumne County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a public/private 501C3 non profit organization whom offer extended career opportunities in the areas of education, training, employment, mentorship, and apprenticeship programs. We are looking for a child care center personnel whom encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. Under the Direction of the child care center supervisor you will teach and supervise the students while also supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development. Qualifications, education and experience: Educational qualifications for a teacher / teachers aide preferred with Early Learning Childhood Education and experience. Qualifications per position vary. Teacher preferred 12 + Early Learning Childhood Education (ECE) units plus experience. Teachers Aide preferred 6 Early Learning Childhood Education (ECE) units and or a desire to participate in education at an entry level position. A desire and ability to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational and developmental goals. Preferred experience working with children. Experience in recreation, coaching, athletics, arts, youth programs. mentoring. Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for school- aged children. Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet many varied deadlines. A good level of computer literacy. Good written and verbal skills. Current Drivers license. Background check clearance 1 + of experience
