Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Spring Valley center to nurture and inspire young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities, support children's social, emotional, and academic growth, and maintain a warm, inclusive classroom. You'll communicate closely with families, collaborate with teammates, and uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom events Monitor children's safety and well-being at all times Collaborate with center staff to support a positive, inclusive culture Observe and document children's development and learning milestones Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety standards Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Behavior management techniques Parent and family communication Health, safety, and sanitation practices Observation and documentation of child progress Basic computer and recordkeeping skills CPR and First Aid Team collaboration in a childcare setting
