We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for toddlers and infants. Supervise and engage with children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and independence. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Lead classroom management efforts to create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR protocols, while promptly addressing any incidents or emergencies. Collaborate with team members to plan special activities that support early childhood development goals. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, special education needs, and mandated reporting laws to provide the highest quality care. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is essential. Demonstrated classroom management skills with young children, including toddlers and infants. Knowledge of childhood development instruction and child supervision techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Previous babysitting or childcare experience that highlights responsibility and nurturing abilities is advantageous.
