Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to infant exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies Support individual developmental needs by collaborating with specialists in special education or those experienced in working with children with disabilities Adhere to mandated reporting laws by documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly and accurately Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development principles Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with excellent child supervision abilities Ability to communicate effectively with parents, team members, and children in a positive manner Familiarity with early childhood education standards and daycare center regulations Demonstrated commitment to nurturing young children's growth through engaging teaching practices Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
