Bread of Life Christian Children's Center is seeking fully qualified early childhood educators who are passionate about child development and committed to providing exceptional, Christ-centered early childhood education. We are looking for teachers who understand that every interaction with a child is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and nurture a lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of how young children grow, develop, and learn, and is able to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the whole child; spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience in: Child development and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) The Emergent Approach to Learning , using intentional observation to build meaningful learning experiences based on children's interests, questions, and developmental needs Creative Curriculum , including purposeful planning, observation, documentation, and authentic assessment Social Learning Theory , recognizing that children develop knowledge, language, self-regulation, and social competence through meaningful interactions with peers, teachers, and their environment Play-based, inquiry-driven learning that promotes exploration, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking Designing rich classroom environments that encourage independence, collaboration, and hands-on discovery Building strong, respectful relationships with children and families while fostering a warm, nurturing classroom community Classroom management practices that emphasize guidance, relationship-building, and social-emotional development At Bread of Life Christian Children's Center, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, inquiry, and meaningful social interactions, not through worksheets or teacher-directed instruction.
