Duties Assist with supervising children during playtime, meal times, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by helping implement age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities focused on childhood growth and learning Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong relationships Support staff in implementing individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those requiring special education strategies Help facilitate activities that promote social-emotional development, motor skills, language acquisition, and early childhood education principles Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training is encouraged Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children Ability to work well under supervision while also demonstrating initiative in supporting children's needs Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth through engaging activities Join us to make a difference in children's lives every day!
