401(k) Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Grace Harbor Church & School is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Preschool Breaker/Floater to join our preschool team. The Preschool Breaker/Floater provides classroom coverage throughout the day, allowing teachers to take scheduled breaks and lunches while helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for our children. Responsibilities Provide classroom coverage during teacher breaks, lunches, and as needed. Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines. Help with transitions, meals, diapering/toileting, and other classroom needs. Support multiple classrooms and age groups as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Follow all preschool policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, and the Preschool Director. Qualifications Previous experience working with young children preferred. Must be dependable, flexible, patient, and nurturing. Ability to work well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must meet California preschool employment and licensing requirements. Infant units preferred, but not a requirement. Schedule Full-time position with hours based on preschool operating needs.
