KinderCare is seeking a Champions Lead Teacher for our Foothill Knolls program. In this role, you will lead before- and after-school care for elementary-age children, creating a safe, engaging environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth. You will plan and deliver hands-on activities, oversee classroom management, and ensure compliance with all safety and licensing standards. As a leader, you will mentor staff, partner with school administrators and families, and model KinderCare's inclusive, nurturing culture while helping children thrive every day. Responsibilities Lead daily before- and after-school programming for elementary-age children Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons Ensure safety, supervision, and compliance with state and Kinder Care standards Build positive relationships with children, families, school partners, and staff Guide and mentor site staff, modeling effective classroom practices Communicate regularly with families about child progress and program activities Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and compliance records Support a nurturing, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment Required Skills Classroom management Lesson planning Child supervision Curriculum implementation Early childhood assessment Parent communication Behavior management Safety and compliance Team leadership Basic computer skills
