This role involves supporting the daily care and development of young children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess relevant experience, and be committed to creating a safe and engaging space for learning and growth. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans tailored to early childhood development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement. Support children with special needs or disabilities, providing personalized care and assistance as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and materials regularly. Foster positive interactions among children to promote social skills, cooperation, and emotional development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities. Support the overall operation of the daycare by assisting with administrative tasks when necessary. Skills Prior classroom experience working with young children is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong teaching abilities with an understanding of early childhood education principles. Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic childcare setting. Good communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in early childhood environments.
